By Setting Your Priorities Right.

Reading widely and consistently will no doubt boost your mind muscles increasing your capacity.
The book states well in:

Proverbs 23:23-24
[23]Buy the truth and sell it not; not only that, but also get discernment and judgment, instruction and understanding.
[24]The father of the [uncompromisingly] righteous (the upright, in right standing with God) shall greatly rejoice, and he who becomes the father of a wise child shall have joy in him.

To ‘BUY‘ literally means ‘get’. ‘TRUTH‘ means ‘the quality or state of being ‘true’ also accuracy. Buy the truth; purchase it upon any terms, spare no pains nor cost to get it. The truth; the true and saving knowledge of God’s mind and will concerning your salvation, and the way that leads to it.
Sell it not; do not forget it nor forsake it for any worldly advantages, as ungodly men frequently do.
Understanding; whereby you may love and practise the truth known and received.

The above words reiterated by King Solomon simply tells us that only 4 things one should buy today but unfortunately, no store carries them! You need all the four unless you are not prepared to succeed in life! Well one thing is for sure, you must aspire to grow.

These four things are: truth, wisdom, instruction and understanding. Do you want them? What will you pay for them? Well, let’s say you have them and that you have been offered riches to sell them, would You? Dare not!

There is only one way to buy something. Pay for it. So buying the truth requires paying a prize for it! All buying requires ranking your desires for no man can afford everything. Set your priorities right that way you can spend well your ‘abundant’ resources. And here Solomon tells you to put truth, wisdom, instruction and understanding at the top of your list. Proverbs 4:5-7

What is the cost? 1.Truth will cost you friends, yes because most of the people prefer lies, superstitions and traditions instead of truth, proverbs 13:20. 2. Wisdom will cost you ease, for only fools believe and do anything they wish. 3. Instruction will cost you pride, for you must accept correction from others and follow accordingly. And 4.Understanding will cost you peace, for you will know the world’s insanity. Ecclesiastes 1:18.Other cost: Pleasure steals time for learning so you’ll have to do away with it! You must work hard and diligently labor for you to achieve: Study when others are sleeping, yes this way your capacity increase is guaranteed.

There are only few men with truth and wisdom in the world today. Do you want to be one of these men? Eccl 8:1, well, It’s a choice only you can make. You must diligently pursue it! Ask The Holy Spirit to reveal to you The Truth, and you shall have it in Jesus name. Ephesians 1:17-18.

Paul says that if you must boast, boast in the Lord 2Corinth 10:17. I’m privileged to have a father, a writer, a mentor, a pastor, Pst.
